Travel to Paradise Goa (3)

This is my third blog about Goa  so I was wondering what else can I tell you about it. Hmmm ..... I have few random facts about Goa.

1. Area - Goa is smallest state (area wise) in India.

2. Commute - You can reach here by train .The railway station is in Madgao and Vasco-da-gama.

Other way to reach here is by plane . The airport is in Dabolim Goa.

3. Language - Most of the people in Goa understand and speak ENGLISH but their  native language is KONKANI.

4. Way to Travel - The popular way to roam and travel around in Goa is by taxi which is kind of expensive if you are staying there for longer period.

So there is another option you can rent a bike or car on per day basis. It's kind of cheap and affordable.

5. Hotels - You can get hotels at pretty affordable rate during off season but on season ( October - March) prices are reasonably high .Hence pre book your hotels.

6. Food - You will get awesome sea food here , obviously it is surrounded by sea around you got to have that.But there is no worry for vegetarians because local restaurant serve that too very well.

7. Water Activities - You can go do water sports here like Jett sking, speed boat, scuba diving but only during the peak season . If you are going in off season there is big no to this thing as water level is above danger level specifically in monsoon.

8. Music- You can enjoy Goan Music ,Trans Music , Pop , Jazz etc. I would say every kind of music here because there are lot of clubs and pubs on beach side where so many artist performs from time to time.

9.Tourism - Goa is hub for tourist . Mostly people  earn their livelihood from tourism.

10. Leisue and Pleasure - Don't think too much , just go and enjoy yourself.

I am back again with few more information about fascinating must visit place Goa.

In my last blog I told you about few places of North Goa.

North Goa is not only famous for beaches but it can offer you some other places that can attract you equally. I would like to mention a few of them in this blog.

1) CASINOS - Goa is among few places in India where gambling is legal. So you can try your luck at casinos here. One of the best casinos to try out are CASINO PRIDE, DELTIN ROYALE, DELTIN JAQK.
Usually ticket to Casino will cost you between Rs 3000 - 4000.

2) If you are bored from beaches and warm climate you should take rest from it and enjoy a leisurely time at SNOW PARK  recently opened at Baga.
It will cost you Rs 700 and you can enjoy unlimited hours there.

3) If you are party animal and loves shaking your booty on EDM and Trans Music , Goa is the place for you. There are a lot of good clubs out there. Best one are Club Cabana, SinQ, COHIBA, LPK ( Love Passion Karma) . If you are group of girls or a couple then the entry is free,else you need to spend some bucks between 2000 to 3000.

4) Goa is full of variation, majority of people follow Hinduism and Christianity. So you will find religious places of both.
Some of the must visit temples are Shanta Durga Temple, Mahalakshmi Temple, Gopal Ganesh Temple . I have already talked about Churches to visit in Goa in my previous blog.

5)  To end a perfect day in Goa, there can be nothing better than watching Sunset on Mandovi River Cruise. You can have fun on cruise for more than an hour which gives you a spectacular view of Panjim City. It will cost you between Rs 300 - 400.

Travel to Paradise Goa (1)

Lately away from my daily routine i got a chance to travel to a beautiful state in India called GOA.

The trip was planned by my friends and I was so very excited to visit the place as the place is known for its natural beauty as well it is party animals destination.

 Goa is in southern India . It lies between Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh states.  It is coastal area surrounded by Arabian Sea all around , so expect alot of beaches and get ready to tan. The place remains warm and pleasant all around the year but best time to visit is from October to March.

The moment you enter the place you start falling in love with the place because the road side is full of greenery , beautiful colurful houses that comes in the way. Even the people are nice and friendly.

If you are visiting Goa for the first time it is better that you cover North Goa first and then South Goa as former is more happening and later is calm and peaceful. North Goa has pretty good places to cover like churches  Se Cathedral, Basilica of Bom Jesus etc. There is fort Aguarda. There are so many pretty beaches 

Like Candolim, Vagator,Anjuna, Baga , Calungute, Arambol etc.Baga and Calungute are the crowded and commercial ones . My favourite was Anjuna beach it was a Pebble Beach , there were big Rocks at beach side but the view was spectacular.

How to achieve your goal.

You might have read a lot of articles about how you can achieve your goal,  but i am going  to tell you the most practical way to do that.

 

Read the following steps and follow them:

1)Be Clear in  your mind.

If you want  to achieve your goal ,you should be clear about two things:

a) What is your goal?

b) Why you want to achieve that goal?

If you are clear about above two things follow the second step.

2)Make a Plan.

Before you start preparing for your goal, make a plan or blueprint, which includes the time you will spend daily to get your goal done.Do you have proper resources which will help you to obtain your goal.For example if you are preparing for an exam.You will have to think about how much time daily you have to study for exam, do you have books for the subject.do you need tuition for a particular topic.

3)Avoid Over Thinking and Start Preparing.

Once you made a plan , don't look back and start preparing for your goal. Don't think about the consequences.Generally what happens is sometimes we think a lot about our success or failure without actually working for it.So we exhaust our mind.

Avoid doing that.Just stay calm.Do as much as you can.

 

4)Have a Faith

Always believe yourself even if nobody believes in you.Believe that you are going to achieve your goal no matter what other say and believe.If others are underestimating you, they are ignorant of your power.

5) Give your best 

Always gives your 100 % to your goal and you will see the positive result.

Even in case you fail, don't give up.Keep on trying until you actually achieve your goal.

I fell in love with darkness, even being the daughter of light
I don't know, why i was not happy with sunshine

Use to wonder how dark night feels like
With a little shyness , took my step towards dusk
Reached their alone but felt complete.

My crime was intentional ,
